Morpheus' VIP suites and cigar room required a dramatic fire feature that could operate 24/7 without generating heat, emissions, or requiring a chimney.

Traditional gas fireplaces were ruled out due to ventilation constraints and safety concerns in a high-stakes integrated resort environment. The solution had to operate 24/7 without heat generation.

Morpheus is the flagship hotel of City of Dreams Macau — designed by a world-renowned architectural practice and opened in 2018 as the world's first free-form exoskeleton high-rise. BB Fires supplied 5 custom AquaFog water vapor fireplaces across its VIP suites and cigar room, each passing the strictest integrated resort fire inspections.
Integrated resort environments are exceptionally sensitive to open flames and heat. Our 3D water vapor technology uses ultrasonic atomization with LED light sources to recreate authentic flame movement — zero open flame, zero heat output, zero emissions — passing Macau's strictest fire codes. The system runs 24/7 without requiring dedicated supervision.
Within the futuristic architecture of a world-renowned master practice, the fireplace is no longer a heat source but a status symbol of private space. In the cigar room, water vapor flame interweaves with cigar smoke, rebuilding the warmth and ritual of intimate space. The 5-unit delivery attests to BB Fires' scalable supply capability and hotel-grade service.
