Traditional wood or gas solutions involve flue penetrations and open-flame management, both impractical in indoor public areas, making this a custom challenge that balances ambience with safety.

BB Fires answered with a smart bioethanol fireplace: bioethanol fuel, zero flue and zero gas lines, with a real yet controllable flame. Combined with a low-temperature safety surface and smart remote control, the hotel team can ignite and adjust the flame remotely — creating a seamless welcome across the lobby, pool and public areas.
